Have uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart disease

Common side effects

Nausea
Flushing
Headache
Injection site redness, itching or swelling
Temporary darkening of the skin or gums with frequent use

Read full safety information

Blood pressure. PT-141 can cause a temporary rise in blood pressure after a dose. Do not use more than one dose in 24 hours.

Serious allergic reactions. Get emergency help for swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, trouble breathing, or a severe rash.

Other medications. Share a full list of your medications and supplements in your health history so your Axiom Medical Professional can check for interactions.

Sterile use. Use a new syringe for every injection and never share needles. Stop and contact your Axiom Medical Professional if an injection site becomes hot, painful or swollen.

Call 911 for a medical emergency. To report side effects, contact your Axiom Medical Professional or the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or fda.gov/medwatch.
